Wow, you’re actually interested in learning a little bit about me. I’m flattered, and thank you for stopping by. My name is Mark and I launched www.tablesawchoice.com in 2014 as source of information for woodworkers worldwide. I seem to remember like it was yesterday my first table saw purchase back in 1998 – the internet wasn’t as full of information as it is today, and finding any reviews or feedback regarding a particular model was pretty much impossible unless you personally knew someone who had used the saw, or knew the right people at online discussion boards.
It’s 2014 and I still think there isn’t enough information about table saws online as there should be. So the goal of this website is simple: to provide clear and non-biased reviews of table saws out there. I’ve used dozens of different models over the years including at my own private workshop as well as my friends’ carpentry business and while I wouldn’t dare say I know everything, I do know quite a lot about those tools and feel qualified enough to judge their performance, safety and reliability in various projects. Most of the table saws I’ve used are of the cabinet and contractor type, however a fair share of portable ones have gone through my hands as well.
I’m providing this website “as is” and completely free of any charge to you, the reader. While browsing the site and various reviews you will come across links to table saws sold at Amazon.com, and if you follow any of those links and make a purchase I will be credited with a small referral fee (at no additional costs to you, and you still get all of Amazon’s perks such as free shipping and huge discounts where applicable). Whether you use that link to purchase an item is completely up to you and I’m happy to continue developing this website even if it does not earn much (or any) money.
I hope you enjoy your stay here and that you manage to find actually useful information for your projects. Please, if you have any questions or comments don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail using the contact form – I love getting e-mails and happily reply to all of them.
Thanks again for checking in and see you around, hopefully.
